Valarie McDowell-Gunn PhD, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of Georgia, with 20 years of experience. I received a Bachelors of Social Work from Jacksonville State University. I decided to further my education and obtained a Masters of Social Work from Florida State University. I completed my education with a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona.
My career has been focused on working with clients from multiple backgrounds, with some of the following issues/concerns: dual diagnosis, adjustment problems, PTSD, depression, anxiety, family cohesion problems, as well as, relationship problems. I use the following approaches; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Body-Mind Psychotherapy.

D’Antoinette Edwards MS, LPC, CPCS
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Informed Therapist trained in Brainspotting and Cognitive Processing Therapy, among other trauma informed therapy treatments. I am licensed in in the state of Georgia with over a decade of experience working with adult, geriatric, and teen/adolescent populations with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring issues.
I achieved my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Georgia State University and Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. While I treat a variety of mental health concerns, I specialize in PTSD/Trauma and Christian Counseling.
